Common questions
Where did my saved photo go?
Saving adds a new photo to your Photos library. If you used the share sheet, the result went to the app you chose.
Did Tinterly change my original?
No. Import uses the system photo picker. Library permission is add-only: saving does not change or delete your originals.
Why is my export smaller?
Exports are capped at 24 megapixels. Smaller photos are never enlarged. The export screen shows the output size before saving.
Can I edit offline?
Yes. Editing and AI Lab work with photos already on your device. A photo stored only in iCloud needs a connection to download.
Where is my unfinished edit?
Your last draft is kept for seven days after your last edit. Continue it on the next launch, or clear it in Settings. Only one draft is kept.
Why did my AI Lab result disappear?
AI Lab results are separate from your draft. Save or share a result to keep it; unsaved results are removed the next time you open the app.
What if saving fails?
Check Settings → Tinterly for permission to add photos and make sure your device has free space. If a save could not be confirmed, check Photos before trying again to avoid a duplicate.
