Your photos, on your device
Editing happens on your iPhone. We don’t upload your photos.
What we collect
We don’t collect any data. Tinterly has no server of its own, and the app doesn’t send us your photos, your name, your email address, your contacts, your location or any identifier for you or your device.
Local diagnostics
Tinterly has no account, no ads and no analytics SDK. Editing happens on this device, and the app keeps a local, on-device count of basic events so you can review it. It is never uploaded automatically.
Your photos
Photos you choose in the system photo picker are edited on this device; the app does not browse your library. Saving adds a new photo: Tinterly can only add photos to your library, not read, change or delete the ones already there, so your originals stay as they are.
AI Lab
AI Lab styles run on this device with Apple Vision and models built into the app. Your photos are not uploaded and are not used to train any model. Results you don’t save or share are deleted the next time you open the app.
What stays on this device
Your draft, up to 10 photos and their edits, stays on this device and is cleared 7 days after your last edit, or sooner if you clear it in Settings. Temporary files are cleared automatically. None of this is included in iCloud backups, and deleting the app removes all of it.
Internet use
Photos already available on your device can be edited offline, and AI Lab works offline too. Downloading photos from iCloud may need an internet connection; iOS handles that, not a Tinterly server.
Sharing
Once you share a photo, the service you share it with handles it under its own terms. Your photo library’s own iCloud sync is controlled by your system settings.
Children
Tinterly is a general-audience photo editor. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
You can clear your draft at any time in Settings. Because the app sends us nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes what Tinterly does with data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
This website & contacting support
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Hosting may involve technical request data such as an IP address for delivering and protecting the site. We add no analytics scripts, cookies, tracking pixels or visitor accounts. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to reply. Please avoid sending private photos unless they are needed to explain a problem.
